Unfinished Business

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is making a major move into contemporary art with expansion into a building that once housed the Whitney in Manhattan.  To kick off the proceedings, British curator Sheena Wagstaff has mounted a most interesting show of pieces that, for various reasons, were never quite completed.  Why not?
