This is a small metal bank.  Press a lever on the back of the clown's head and his tongue slides out, ready for a coin.  Growing up, this toy was a delight to my two brothers and me.  Many years later, with a bit of creative lighting, a change of camera angle and Pixlr, it becomes something quite different.
